I do believe someone forgot to add spring this year as we went from cold and blustery to hot and muggy. I am thankful for the rain we have received this month. Everyone has been off vacationing and making the most of this heat, and this is good as we all need an occasional break.

I am truly pleased with the amount of emails and personal statements that have been the result of our Sunday night study on the book of Daniel. And I love the feedback you are giving in the study as I am learning from you as much as you are learning from me.

I am happy to announce that we have accepted into membership the following people; Dan Lingafelt, Cindy Lingafelt, Lori Lingafelt, Chris Heffner, Dan Green, and Marty Brown. Christine McDaniel has completed the discipleship class but is already a member of Ragan. We have a number of others who I will recommend as soon as we can get them scheduled for the discipleship training class.

We will have a day of celebration on the 11^th of July as we baptize our brothers and sisters who have recently come to a relationship with Christ. I implore every member to make it a priority to attend this service and welcome these young Christians into the family of Christ.

I will be on vacation starting July 3^rd and will return on the 10^th. Dan Green will be preaching in the morning service and Elizabeth Lee will be leading in the Sunday evening Bible study. I believe both will make it worth your while to be there.  Also Shane Kanipe will be speaking on Wed. July 7th at 7 pm.
